The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW18-40-BR-AO is a Brocade® (Formerly) compatible TAA-compliant 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed to deliver high-speed, long-distance optical connectivity for modern enterprise, metro, and access networks. Operating on ITU-T Channel DW18 at 1563.05nm, this hot-swappable module supports transmission distances of up to 40km over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a duplex LC connector. It features a cooled EML transmitter, PIN receiver, and digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time performance tracking. Compliant with SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards, this transceiver guarantees seamless interoperability with Brocade® platforms and comes backed by AddOn’s rigorous testing and limited lifetime warranty — ensuring reliable performance and long-term network scalability.
