Description
The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW17-40-BR-AO is a Brocade® compatible TAA-compliant 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed for high-performance storage and data center networks. Operating on ITU-T Channel DW17 at 1563.86nm, this hot-pluggable module delivers up to 40km transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a duplex LC connector. Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, it supports 8x/10x Fibre Channel and 16G Fibre Channel over DWDM applications. Featuring Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), excellent ESD protection, and low EMI metal housing, this transceiver is engineered for reliability and seamless integration with Brocade® equipment. Each unit is individually programmed, serialized, and rigorously tested to ensure full compatibility and performance parity with OEM solutions.
