Description

The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW42-40-BR-AO is a high-performance, TAA-compliant DWDM SFP+ transceiver designed for 16G Fibre Channel applications. Compatible with Brocade® (Formerly) switches and hardware, this transceiver delivers 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel throughput up to 40 km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a 1543.73 nm wavelength on the ITU-T 100 GHz DW42 channel.

Engineered with a cooled EML transmitter, PIN receiver, and digital optical monitoring (DOM) support, it ensures precise performance monitoring and reliable data transmission even in demanding enterprise, metro, and access network environments. The module is hot-pluggable, RoHS-compliant, and rigorously tested for full interoperability and reliability, offering a seamless replacement for OEM Brocade® transceivers.

Whether upgrading existing storage networks or deploying new long-reach Fibre Channel infrastructure, AddOn’s transceiver guarantees carrier-grade performance, excellent ESD protection, and minimal EMI, backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
