The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW41-40-BR-AO is a Brocade® compatible 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed to deliver high-performance optical connectivity for enterprise, metro, and access networks. Operating on the ITU-T Channel DW41 at a center wavelength of 1544.53 nm, this hot-pluggable module provides 16 Gbps throughput over single-mode fiber (SMF) for distances up to 40 km using a standard LC duplex connector.
Built to meet SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards, the transceiver integrates a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, ensuring stable, low-noise performance in demanding environments. It supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and complies with TAA requirements, guaranteeing use in government and enterprise deployments. Each unit is programmed, serialized, and fully application-tested to match OEM functionality while delivering cost-effective scalability.
