Description
The AddOn Brocade® (Formerly) Compatible SFP-16GB-DW50-40-BR-AO is a high-performance 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed to deliver reliable long-distance data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating on ITU Channel DW50 (1537.40nm) with a reach of up to 40 km, this hot-pluggable module supports 8x/10x Fibre Channel and 16G Ethernet over DWDM applications for access, metro, and enterprise networks.
Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, the transceiver offers Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and is compliant with SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards. It is engineered for seamless compatibility, fully tested for interoperability, and backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty. This TAA-compliant solution provides excellent ESD protection, low EMI, and superior reliability for demanding optical networking environments.
