Description
The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW48-40-BR-AO is a Brocade® compatible TAA-compliant 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed for high-performance, long-distance data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating on the ITU-T 100GHz DW48 channel with a center wavelength of 1538.98nm, this module delivers reliable throughput up to 40km via a duplex LC connector.
Featuring a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, it supports 8x/10x Fibre Channel and 16x Gigabit Ethernet over DWDM networks, making it ideal for access, metro, and enterprise applications. The transceiver is hot-pluggable, supports digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics, and is RoHS compliant and lead-free.
Each unit is programmed, serialized, and application-tested to guarantee seamless interoperability with Brocade® systems and deliver reliable performance under commercial temperature conditions (0°C to 70°C). It is backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty.
