The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW38-40-BR-AO is a high-performance, Brocade® (formerly) compatible 16GBase-DWDM SFP+ Fibre Channel transceiver designed for long-distance data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating on the ITU-T Channel DW38 (1546.92nm), this hot-swappable optical module delivers reliable connectivity up to 40 km and supports data rates up to 14.025 Gbps, making it ideal for 8G/10G Fibre Channel, 16G DWDM Ethernet, and metro, access, and enterprise network applications.
Built to SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards, the transceiver features a cooled EML transmitter, PIN receiver, and duplex LC connector for superior optical performance. Integrated Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) allows real-time diagnostics of key parameters, ensuring optimal network performance. Additionally, the unit is RoHS compliant, TAA-compliant, and undergoes rigorous serialization and application testing to guarantee 100% compatibility and seamless operation with Brocade® platforms.
