Description
The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW36-40-BR-AO is a Brocade® (formerly) compatible 16GBase-DWDM SFP+ transceiver designed to deliver high-performance Fibre Channel connectivity across metropolitan and enterprise networks. Supporting data rates up to 16 Gbps, it operates over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a maximum reach of 40 km at a 1548.51 nm DWDM wavelength (Channel DW36, 100 GHz).
Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, this hot-swappable transceiver ensures reliable performance, low EMI, and excellent ESD protection. It features digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and is fully compliant with SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards.
Each unit is 100% tested for interoperability and performance, uniquely serialized, and programmed for seamless integration, ensuring plug-and-play compatibility with Brocade® switches. Backed by AddOn’s industry-leading quality assurance and a limited lifetime warranty, this transceiver is ideal for data center interconnect, metro transport, and enterprise storage networks.
