The Christie ILS1 1.4–1.8:1 Zoom Lens is designed for Christie M Series projectors and features the advanced Intelligent Lens System (ILS) for precise optical control and seamless integration. This professional projection lens automatically recognizes and calibrates when installed, ensuring quick setup and consistent performance in demanding environments such as auditoriums, simulation rooms, large venues, and corporate installations.
Using stepper motor–based encoding, the lens eliminates motor drift commonly associated with traditional DC encoded motors. This design enables accurate and repeatable recall of zoom, focus, and lens offset positions, making it ideal for installations that require precision alignment and repeatable screen configurations.
When paired with Christie M Series HD and WU projectors, the lens provides a 1.4–1.8:1 throw ratio. When used with Christie M Series SXGA+ projectors, it delivers a 1.5–2.0:1 throw ratio. The ILS platform also supports motorized control and memory recall, allowing operators to quickly switch between saved lens positions for flexible staging and multi-screen environments.
