Description

The Christie ILS Zoom Lens 1.16–1.49:1 / 1.25–1.60:1 is a precision optical solution designed for Christie M Series projectors. Built with Christie’s Intelligent Lens System (ILS), this lens automatically communicates with compatible projectors to recognize and calibrate itself upon installation, enabling fast setup and seamless system integration.

ILS technology incorporates stepper motor based encoding to eliminate the drift commonly associated with DC encoded motors. This design ensures consistent accuracy and repeatability when recalling stored lens parameters, including zoom, focus, and lens offset positions. Integrators and operators can quickly adjust projection geometry and recall precise settings for multi-screen environments or complex staging installations.

This lens provides flexible throw capabilities depending on the projector model in use. With Christie M Series HD and WU projectors, the lens offers a 1.16–1.49:1 throw ratio. When used with Christie M Series SXGA+ projectors, the throw ratio adjusts to 1.25–1.60:1, providing versatile placement options for a variety of venue sizes and projection distances.

Engineered for professional AV applications, the Christie ILS zoom lens supports reliable image alignment, simplified installation workflows, and high-precision optical performance across enterprise, higher education, and live event environments.
