Description

The AddOn Ciena® NTK587EG Compatible 10GBase-DWDM XFP Transceiver is a high-performance optical solution designed for reliable and efficient long-distance data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 40km. Operating on a 1531.12nm wavelength with 100GHz channel spacing, this transceiver supports data rates from 9.95Gbps to 11.3Gbps for 8x/10x Fibre Channel and 10x Gigabit Ethernet over DWDM networks.

Built with a temperature-stabilized EML transmitter and PIN receiver, it ensures stable performance across a commercial operating range of 0°C to 70°C. The module is hot-pluggable, features digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics, and complies with INF-8077i and TAA standards. With excellent ESD protection, robust EMI shielding, and RoHS compliance, this transceiver delivers reliable, high-quality optical connectivity for access, metro, and enterprise network applications.
