Description
The AddOn Ciena® NTK587EU-AO is a high-performance, TAA-compliant 10GBase-DWDM XFP transceiver designed to deliver reliable and efficient data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) at distances up to 40 km. Operating on a 1535.82nm wavelength with 100GHz channel spacing, this transceiver is fully compatible with the original Ciena® part and supports 8G/10G Fibre Channel and 10G Gigabit Ethernet over DWDM networks. Featuring a temperature-stabilized EML transmitter, PIN receiver, and support for Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), it ensures stable performance and real-time monitoring of key operating parameters. With its hot-pluggable design, excellent ESD protection, and robust metal housing for low EMI, the NTK587EU-AO is ideal for access, metro, and enterprise network deployments requiring high-capacity, long-distance optical links.
