Description

The AddOn Ciena® NTK587FJ Compatible TAA 10GBase-DWDM XFP Transceiver is a high-performance, hot-pluggable optical module designed to deliver reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 8G/10G Fibre Channel connectivity over dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) networks. Operating over single-mode fiber (SMF), it supports data transmission up to 40km using a stabilized 1541.35nm wavelength on a 100GHz ITU grid. Featuring a temperature-stabilized EML transmitter, PIN receiver, and Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), it enables network operators to monitor real-time performance metrics for optimal network reliability. Fully compliant with INF-8077i standards and TAA requirements, this transceiver is ideal for access, metro, and enterprise network applications. Each unit is programmed, serialized, and rigorously tested to guarantee 100% compatibility with Ciena® equipment and comes backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty.
