The AddOn Ciena® NTK587GE compatible XFP transceiver delivers 10GBase-DWDM performance over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a reach of up to 40km, utilizing a center wavelength of 1549.32nm on a 100GHz ITU grid via an LC duplex connector. Built with a temperature-stabilized EML transmitter and PIN receiver, this hot-pluggable transceiver ensures reliable, high-performance data transmission for access, metro, and enterprise networks. It supports 8x/10x Fibre Channel and 10x Gigabit Ethernet over DWDM, while Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) provides real-time performance metrics. Fully compliant with INF-8077i and TAA standards, this module is engineered for seamless compatibility with Ciena® equipment and undergoes rigorous testing to guarantee identical initialization and operation.
