This Ciena® XCVR-S80U49-C compatible SFP+ transceiver from AddOn provides reliable 10GBase-BX Ethernet and Fibre Channel connectivity up to 80km over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating with a 1490nm transmit (Tx) and 1550nm receive (Rx) wavelength through a simplex LC connector, it’s designed for high-performance access, metro, and enterprise network applications.
The module is hot-pluggable and fully compliant with SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards, ensuring seamless integration into existing network infrastructures. It features a temperature-stabilized EML transmitter and APD receiver for enhanced signal performance, while Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) enables real-time diagnostics of critical parameters.
Each unit is programmed, uniquely serialized, and rigorously tested for 100% compatibility and OEM-equivalent performance.
