The AddOn Ciena® XCVR-S80W38-100-I-AO is a high-performance, TAA-compliant 10GBase-DWDM SFP+ transceiver designed for long-distance data transmission up to 100km over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating at a center wavelength of 1546.92nm with 100GHz channel spacing, this transceiver is engineered to deliver reliable connectivity for applications such as 10G Ethernet over DWDM, 8x/10x Fibre Channel, and access, metro, and enterprise networks.
Built to meet SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards, the module supports hot-swappable installation, digital optical monitoring (DOM), and excellent ESD and EMI protection. Each unit is uniquely serialized, programmed, and rigorously tested for full compatibility with Ciena® equipment, ensuring seamless integration and identical performance to OEM parts. With an industrial operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and a limited lifetime warranty, this transceiver is a robust solution for demanding network environments.
