The AddOn Ciena® NTK588ALE5-AO is a 100% compatible 10GBase-DWDM XFP transceiver designed for high-performance optical networking. Operating at a center wavelength of 1532.68nm, this hot-pluggable module delivers reliable data transmission up to 80km over single-mode fiber (SMF).
Built with a temperature-stabilized EML transmitter and APD receiver, the NTK588ALE5-AO ensures consistent optical performance across varying conditions. It supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics, making it ideal for 10G Ethernet DWDM, 8G/10G Fibre Channel, metro, access, and enterprise applications.
Compliant with INF-8077i standards and RoHS lead-free regulations, this transceiver also meets TAA requirements, making it suitable for U.S. Government procurement. Each unit is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for guaranteed interoperability with OEM Ciena hardware.
