The AddOn Ciena® NTK588DGE5 compatible XFP transceiver delivers reliable 10GBase-DWDM throughput up to 80km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a wavelength of 1559.79nm via an LC connector. Designed for high-performance networking applications, it supports 8x/10x Fibre Channel and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over DWDM, making it ideal for access, metro, and enterprise networks.

Engineered for seamless integration, this hot-pluggable transceiver is 100% guaranteed compatible with the equivalent Ciena® transceiver. Each unit is programmed, serialized, and application-tested to ensure identical initialization and performance. Featuring Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), it allows access to real-time operating parameters for proactive network management.

With RoHS compliance, excellent ESD protection, and Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliance, this module ensures long-term reliability and regulatory adherence. Backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty, it’s a cost-effective, high-quality solution for expanding DWDM network capacity.
