Powered by a quad-core 64-bit processor, the ASR1000-RP3 runs Cisco IOS XE Software and supports massive IPv4 and IPv6 routing tables, high BGP route-reflector scalability, and nonstop operations. Integrated redundancy features such as NSF, SSO, ISSU, and Online Insertion and Removal (OIR) ensure continuous availability and minimal service disruption.
With flexible memory and SSD storage upgrade options, hot-swappable components, and support for dual route processors in a 1+1 configuration, the ASR1000-RP3 is built for long-term scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency in mission-critical networks.
