The Cisco ASR1006-X Aggregation Services Router is a high-performance, modular routing platform designed for enterprise WAN edge and service provider aggregation deployments. Built for scalability and resiliency, the ASR1006-X supports multi-terabit forwarding capacity with advanced services enabled through Cisco IOS XE Software.
Featuring redundant route processors, embedded services processors (ESPs), and power supplies, the ASR1006-X delivers nonstop operations and five-nines availability for mission-critical networks. Its modular architecture allows flexible expansion with Ethernet Port Adapters (EPAs) and Modular Interface Processors (MIPs), supporting high-density 10G, 40G, and 100G connectivity.
Ideal for SD-WAN aggregation, secure VPN headends, and high-throughput WAN services, the Cisco ASR1006-X provides investment protection with pay-as-you-grow throughput licensing and hardware-accelerated services including encryption, firewall, QoS, and application visibility.
