The AddOn Cisco® SFP-16GB-DW57-40-C-AO is a high-performance, hot-pluggable SFP+ transceiver designed to deliver 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel connectivity with exceptional reliability and compatibility. Operating at a center wavelength of 1531.90nm (ITU Channel DW57) over single-mode fiber (SMF), this module supports data rates up to 14.025 Gbps and extends transmission distances up to 40km.

Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, it ensures stable optical performance and superior signal integrity, making it ideal for applications in enterprise, metro, and access networks. The transceiver features an LC duplex connector, Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics, and full compliance with SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards.
