The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW42-40-C-AO is a Cisco® compatible 16GBase-DWDM SFP+ transceiver designed to deliver reliable high-speed data transmission for Fibre Channel and Ethernet networks. Operating on ITU-T Channel DW42 with a wavelength of 1543.73nm, this TAA-compliant optical module supports data rates up to 14.025 Gbps and provides a transmission distance of up to 40 km over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a duplex LC connector.
Engineered with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, this hot-swappable transceiver ensures consistent performance in demanding environments, making it ideal for enterprise, metro, and access networks. It supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics, offers excellent ESD and EMI protection, and meets key industry standards such as SFF-8432, SFF-8472, and RoHS 2.0.
