The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW40-40-C-AO is a high-performance, Cisco® compatible 16GBase-DWDM SFP+ transceiver designed for reliable and scalable Fibre Channel and Ethernet connectivity. Engineered for demanding data center, metro, and enterprise network environments, this hot-pluggable optical module delivers up to 16 Gbps throughput over single-mode fiber (SMF) with transmission distances of up to 40 km.

Operating on the DWDM ITU-T Channel 40 (1545.32 nm) at a 100GHz grid spacing, it ensures optimal spectral efficiency for high-density WDM deployments. The transceiver features a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, and supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics of critical parameters such as temperature, optical power, and voltage.

Built to meet stringent industry standards, it complies with SFF-8432/SFF-8472, is RoHS compliant, and TAA compliant for government procurement. Each unit is 100% tested and uniquely serialized to guarantee seamless interoperability and identical performance to the original Cisco® part, all backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty.
