Description
The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW25-40-C-AO is a Cisco® compatible 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed for high-performance, long-distance optical networking. Operating on ITU-T Channel DW25 (1557.36 nm), this hot-pluggable module delivers up to 16 Gbps throughput over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a reach of up to 40 km.
Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, it ensures low dispersion and stable performance even under demanding conditions. The transceiver fully supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM), allowing real-time tracking of key operating parameters. Its TAA compliance, RoHS certification, and metal housing with low EMI make it a reliable and secure choice for 8x/10x Fibre Channel, 16x Gigabit Ethernet, and enterprise DWDM networks.
