Description
The AddOn SFP-16GB-DW23-40-C-AO is a Cisco® compatible TAA-compliant 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed for high-performance data center, metro, and enterprise networking applications. Operating on ITU Channel DW23 (1558.98nm), this hot-swappable SFP+ module delivers up to 40km transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) using a duplex LC connector.
Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, this transceiver ensures low power consumption, excellent ESD protection, and reliable operation in commercial temperature environments (0°C to 70°C). It fully supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and meets SFF-8432 and SFF-8472 standards.
Each unit is programmed, serialized, and extensively tested for seamless interoperability with Cisco® switches and routers. Backed by AddOn’s commitment to quality and reliability, this transceiver comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
