The AddOn Cisco® SFP-16GB-DW18-40-C-AO is a high-performance, TAA-compliant 16GBase-DWDM Fibre Channel SFP+ transceiver designed for enterprise, metro, and access network applications. Operating on ITU Channel DW18 with a 100GHz spacing and a center wavelength of 1563.05nm, this transceiver delivers reliable 16G Fibre Channel throughput over single-mode fiber (SMF) at distances up to 40km via a duplex LC connector.
Built with a cooled EML transmitter and PIN receiver, the module supports hot-swappable installation and digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics. It undergoes rigorous testing, is uniquely serialized, and is guaranteed 100% compatible with the equivalent Cisco® transceiver.
