The AddOn Cisco® ONS ONS-QSFP28-LR4-80-AO is a high-performance, hot-swappable QSFP28 optical transceiver designed to deliver 100GBase-ZR4 Ethernet connectivity over single-mode fiber (SMF) with a reach of up to 80km. Operating on LAN WDM wavelengths (1295nm–1309nm), this transceiver supports a 4x25Gbps electrical interface and features cooled EML transmitters and SOA+PIN receivers for optimal performance over extended distances.
Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3ba, ITU-T G.959, and QSFP28 MSA standards, it ensures seamless network integration and interoperability. Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) provides real-time parameter visibility, while its TAA compliance makes it suitable for U.S. government procurement. Each unit is programmed, uniquely serialized, and rigorously tested for data-traffic and application compatibility, guaranteeing 100% OEM equivalency with Cisco® ONS systems.
