Description
This is an AddOn Cisco® SFP-10G-BX80U-I compatible TAA 10GBase-BX SFP+ transceiver that delivers high-performance optical connectivity up to 80 km over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating on a 1490 nm transmit and 1550 nm receive wavelength through a simplex LC connector, it is designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, 8x/10x Fibre Channel, and metro, access, or enterprise network applications.
The module supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and features a hot-pluggable SFP+ form factor for seamless deployment. Each unit is programmed, uniquely serialized, and data-traffic tested to ensure full interoperability with Cisco® equipment. Built to meet stringent industry standards—including SFF-8432, SFF-8472, and RoHS 2.0—and engineered for reliable operation in harsh industrial environments (-40 °C to 85 °C), this transceiver combines exceptional performance with long-distance reach and proven reliability.
