The AddOn Cisco® DWDM-SFP-3898-AO is a 1000Base-DWDM SFP (mini-GBIC) transceiver designed for high-performance optical networking. Supporting data transfer rates of up to 1Gbps, this hot-swappable module delivers reliable connectivity across distances up to 80km over single-mode fiber (SMF) at a 1538.98nm wavelength.
Built to meet or exceed OEM specifications, this transceiver is fully compliant with Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards, ensuring seamless interoperability. It includes Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics of operating parameters, improving network reliability. Each unit is programmed, serialized, and application-tested for guaranteed Cisco® compatibility.
