Description
The BSS Soundweb London BLU-101 is a powerful conferencing processor designed for professional AV installations requiring advanced Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), flexible signal processing, and seamless system integration. Featuring 12 analog mic/line inputs and 8 analog outputs, the BLU-101 delivers exceptional performance for conferencing rooms, corporate boardrooms, education facilities, and multi-space collaboration environments.
With open architecture design configurable through HiQnet™ London Architect, the BLU-101 provides a rich library of processing and logic objects using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Dedicated AEC processing supports up to 12 independent AEC algorithms, each with individual reference inputs, making it ideal for managing multiple conferencing spaces from a single device.
Each AEC channel includes Automatic Gain Control (AGC) and Noise Cancellation (NC), ensuring optimal microphone levels and removal of steady-state background noise such as HVAC systems or projector fans. The processor integrates a 48-channel, fault-tolerant digital audio bus using standard Cat5e cabling for distances up to 100 meters, expandable to over 40 km with fiber media converters.
Software-configurable gain (up to +48 dB in 6 dB steps) and selectable phantom power per channel provide flexibility for a wide range of microphone types. Clear front-panel LED indicators display phantom power, signal presence, and clipping status without requiring a PC. The BLU-101 also features bi-directional device locate functionality for simplified commissioning.
With 12 control inputs, 6 logic outputs, RS-232 connectivity, and GPIO support, the BLU-101 integrates seamlessly with third-party control systems. As part of the Soundweb London ecosystem, it works alongside other BLU devices to build scalable, fully tailored AV system solutions.
