Description
The BSS BLU-103 Conferencing Processor (BLU103-M) is a powerful fixed-configuration DSP solution designed for professional conferencing and commercial AV environments. Featuring 8 analog inputs and 8 analog outputs, integrated VoIP capability, and advanced Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC), the BLU-103 delivers exceptional clarity and seamless communication performance.
The integrated VoIP port supports two SIP v2.0 (or later) lines, enabling direct integration with IP-based telephony systems. With up to 8 independent AEC algorithms, each with dedicated references, the BLU-103 is ideal for multi-room conferencing applications using a single device. Built-in Automatic Gain Control (AGC) maintains optimal microphone levels, while Noise Cancellation (NC) reduces steady-state background noise such as HVAC systems or projector fans.
The processor includes a 48-channel, low-latency, fault-tolerant digital audio bus over standard Cat5e cabling, supporting distances up to 100 meters between compatible devices. With fiber media converters, installations can extend beyond 40 kilometers. It integrates seamlessly with the full Soundweb London ecosystem, enabling scalable and highly customizable system designs.
Analog inputs provide software-configurable gain in 6 dB steps up to +48 dB per channel, along with selectable 48V phantom power. Front panel LED indicators display phantom power, signal presence, and clip status without requiring a PC. A bi-directional locate function simplifies identification within HiQnet Audio Architect environments.
With 12 control inputs and 6 logic outputs for GPIO integration, the BLU-103 easily connects with third-party control systems, making it a flexible and robust core processor for enterprise conferencing, education, hospitality, and government installations.
