Description

The Tripp Lite by Eaton B072-008-1-IP is an 8-port Cat5 KVM over IP switch designed for secure, centralized control of servers from virtually anywhere. It enables IT administrators to access and manage up to eight servers locally or remotely over a network or the Internet, reducing downtime and eliminating unnecessary trips to the server room.

This 1U rack-mounted KVM supports one local and one remote user simultaneously, allowing parallel troubleshooting and administration. Dual Ethernet ports provide network redundancy to ensure uninterrupted remote access. Using cost-effective Cat5e/6/6a cabling and compatible server interface units, servers can be placed up to 100 feet away while maintaining reliable VGA video up to 1920×1080 at 60 Hz.

Advanced features such as Virtual Media, BIOS-level access, LDAP/RADIUS authentication, SNMP alerts, and event logging make this KVM switch ideal for enterprise data centers, government installations, and secure IT environments requiring TAA compliance.
