The AddOn Dell® Q28-100G-FR Compatible TAA 100GBase-FR QSFP28 Transceiver is a high-performance, hot-pluggable optical module designed for 100 Gigabit Ethernet applications over single-mode fiber (SMF). Operating at a wavelength of 1310nm and supporting distances up to 2km, this transceiver provides reliable, high-speed connectivity for data center, enterprise, and access networks.
Built to meet SFF-8665 standards, the module features a duplex LC connector, robust metal housing with reduced EMI, and excellent ESD protection. Each unit is uniquely serialized, programmed, and rigorously tested for seamless interoperability with Dell® equipment. Additionally, digital optical monitoring (DOM) enables real-time access to critical operating parameters, ensuring optimal network performance.
