Description
The Eaton Tripp Lite N482-2M24-6M12 is a high-density fiber breakout cassette engineered for efficient and scalable high-speed data center connectivity. Designed to convert 100/120Gb connections into 40Gb breakout configurations, this cassette features (2) 24-fiber MTP/MPO (male with pins) connections on the input side and (6) 12-fiber OM4 MTP/MPO (male with pins) connections on the output side.
Optimized for Parallel Optics and Base-8 connectivity, it ensures seamless integration with N482-01U and N482-02U High-Density Fiber Enclosure Panels, supporting up to five or fourteen cassettes respectively. The N482-2M24-6M12 offers Polarity B alignment and guarantees compatibility with Eaton N844- and N846-Series cabling, delivering low insertion loss (≤0.35 dB) and quick tool-free installation using push/pull tabs.
With factory-terminated OM4 connectors and a durable steel housing, this cassette minimizes installation time and ensures reliable, long-lasting optical performance in enterprise and cloud infrastructure environments.
