The Eaton Tripp Lite SR42UBMDEXPND is a 42U SmartRack® mid-depth open-frame rack engineered for large-scale data center environments that demand flexibility, scalability, and optimized airflow. Designed as an expansion model (EXP), it seamlessly integrates with other SmartRack enclosures through built-in baying tabs, ideal for hot-aisle/cold-aisle configurations.
With a 36-inch (927 mm) depth and 31-inch maximum device depth, this rack securely supports up to 3,500 lbs (1,588 kg) of standard 19-inch rack equipment. Adjustable front and rear rails, numbered rack spaces, and a quick-view depth index make configuration efficient and precise.
The SR42UBMDEXPND ships fully assembled with casters and leveling feet for easy placement and includes tool-less accessory rails for quick PDU and cable manager installation. Built for reliability and compliance, it meets UL 60950-1, CE, UKCA, and RoHS standards, backed by Eaton’s 5-year limited warranty.
