Designed for installations where standard copper cabling falls short, this transmitter and receiver kit extends DisplayPort video and audio signals up to 6.2 miles (10 km) over singlemode LC fiber.
Supporting Ultra HD resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, this extender ensures sharp image quality and accurate color reproduction for detailed visuals, PC content, and video presentations. It also carries uncompressed multi-channel digital audio, including DTS-HD, Dolby AC-3, and 8-channel LPCM.
The system features selectable USB 1.1, bidirectional IR, or RS-232 signal extension via onboard DIP switches, allowing flexible control options based on application needs. A local HDMI output on the transmitter enables on-site monitoring without affecting the remote display.
