Description
The Tripp Lite SmartRack Thermal Duct Kit (SRTHERMDUCT) is designed to improve cooling efficiency and airflow management in standard SmartRack enclosures. This roof-mounted thermal duct converts a 42–48U rack into a sealed passive cooling structure, directing hot exhaust air upward into a facility’s CRAC or HVAC return system.
By channeling heat away from critical IT equipment, the SRTHERMDUCT helps reduce internal rack temperatures, optimize cooling performance, and support energy-efficient data center operations. Included sealing panels, gaskets, and magnetic door seals ensure proper airflow control while maintaining compatibility with existing SmartRack enclosures.
Ideal for data centers, network closets, and enterprise IT environments, this thermal duct kit enables improved thermal management without active cooling components or increased power consumption.
