Description
The Edgecore AS5916-54XL (AGR110) is a high-performance aggregation router built for cloud data centers and carrier networks. Powered by the Broadcom StrataDNX® Qumran MX™ chipset and an Intel® Xeon® D-1518 quad-core processor, it delivers line-rate Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching performance of up to 800 Gbps.
Designed for flexibility, the AS5916-54XL offers 48 x 10G SFP+ ports and 6 x 100G QSFP28 uplink ports, enabling deployment as a data center Top-of-Rack (ToR) or carrier access/aggregation switch. It supports IEEE 1588v2 and SyncE for timing synchronization and features redundant, hot-swappable dual AC power supplies and 5+1 fan modules for high availability.
Pre-loaded with ONIE (Open Network Install Environment), the switch provides the freedom to load open-source or commercial network operating systems such as Open Network Linux (ONL), making it ideal for open networking environments.
