Description
The AddOn Extreme Networks® Compatible SFP-25GB-CW-55-10-EX-AO is a high-performance 25GBase-CWDM SFP28 transceiver designed for single-mode fiber (SMF) links up to 10 km using a 1550 nm wavelength via an LC duplex connector. This hot-swappable, easy-to-install transceiver delivers up to 25.78 Gbps bi-directional data rates and is fully compliant with SFF-8431, SFF-8432, and SFF-8472 standards.
Built with a CWDM-rated EML transmitter and APD receiver, it ensures reliable, low-latency connectivity for demanding applications such as data center interconnects, metro networks, enterprise backbones, and mobile fronthaul (CPRI/OBSAI). It supports digital optical monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics, has a built-in dual CDR with bypass functionality, and consumes a maximum of 1.8 W of power.
Each transceiver is uniquely serialized, programmed, and rigorously tested for interoperability to guarantee seamless integration and identical performance to the original Extreme Networks® module. It is also TAA compliant, RoHS-certified, and Class 1 laser safety approved — backed by AddOn’s limited lifetime warranty.
