Description

The Fluke Networks FI-500 FiberInspector™ Micro is a fast, easy-to-use handheld fiber optic inspection tool designed to simplify the process of checking fiber endfaces—especially in dark, crowded, or high-density patch panels. Featuring PortBright™ illumination, this device lights up dark ports so technicians can easily locate and connect the probe. The auto-focus function delivers sharp, high-resolution images in just seconds, while the pause button freezes the view for detailed inspection.

Equipped with a large 3.2-inch color display, 200X magnification, and multiple zoom settings, the FI-500 enables technicians to quickly verify cleanliness, identify contamination, and troubleshoot network performance issues caused by dirty or damaged connectors. The compact probe fits into tight spaces, and the included 4 UPC tips (LC, SC, 1.25 mm, 2.50 mm) support a wide range of fiber connectors, with optional APC tips available.

Built for field durability, the FI-500 features a rugged, drop-tested design, rechargeable batteries, and a magnetic strap attachment to keep the tester secure and hands-free. Whether in data centers, telecom closets, or outside plant environments, this tool eliminates the #1 cause of fiber failure—dirty endfaces—before they impact your network.
