Description

The Fluke Networks FQM-100-M-VFL Fiber QuickMap Kit with VisiFault is an advanced multimode fiber troubleshooting solution that bridges the gap between a simple Visual Fault Locator (VFL) and a complex OTDR. Designed for quick, accurate fault detection, this tool works with 50/125 µm and 62.5/125 µm multimode fibers, measuring distances up to 1,500 meters (4,921 feet) in seconds.

Equipped with an integrated VisiFault Visual Fault Locator, it identifies severe bends, high-loss splices, breaks, and dirty connectors. It detects live optical signals before testing, reducing risk of equipment damage. The device offers simple one-button operation, six-second test times, and a large backlit display for easy viewing in low-light environments. Rugged and portable, it is ideal for field technicians who need fast and reliable fiber diagnostics without the complexity of full OTDR operation.
