The HPE Aruba Networking 5412R zl2 Switch (JL001A) is an enterprise-grade, modular Layer 3 managed switch designed for scalable, secure, and high-performance network environments. With 92 Gigabit PoE+ ports and 4 SFP+ uplink ports, it’s engineered for large-scale campus and enterprise deployments requiring robust throughput and seamless power delivery for devices such as access points, VoIP phones, and IoT endpoints.
Part of the 5400R zl2 Series, this switch supports advanced features including Virtual Switching Framework (VSF), MACsec security, hitless failover, and full Layer 3 routing protocols. It integrates easily with HPE Aruba’s cloud-based and on-premises network management tools, such as Aruba Central, AirWave, and ClearPass, for simplified administration, zero-trust security enforcement, and analytics-driven operations.
The JL001A version comes without power supply pre-installed, allowing flexible customization with up to four supported power supplies. It includes a fan tray and is rack-mountable in a 7U enclosure.
