Description

The AddOn HP® 845420-B21 compatible active optical cable delivers high-performance connectivity for data center, enterprise, and high-performance computing environments. This 100GBase-AOC QSFP28 to 4xSFP28 cable supports an aggregate bit rate of 103.1Gbps and features four independent full-duplex channels, each operating at 25Gbps. With a maximum reach of 7 meters over multimode fiber (MMF) and a wavelength of 850nm, it ensures efficient, low-latency data transmission for demanding applications such as InfiniBand EDR and 100G Ethernet.

Built to comply with Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards, this cable has been programmed, uniquely serialized, and rigorously tested for data traffic and application compatibility. It is TAA (Trade Agreements Act) compliant, RoHS certified, and lead-free. With a low power consumption design — 2.5W for the QSFP28 terminal and 1.0W for each SFP28 terminal — and a standard operating temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, this active optical cable is optimized for reliable, energy-efficient performance in high-density environments.
