The HPE Aruba 5406R v3 zl2 Switch (JL002A) is a next-generation modular Layer 3 switch designed for mobile-first campuses and digital workplaces. It features 8 HPE Smart Rate multi-gigabit PoE+ ports (1/2.5/5/10GBASE-T) and 8 open 10GbE SFP+ ports, delivering high-performance wired access to support 802.11ac/ax wireless infrastructure.
Powered by the sixth-generation ProVision ASIC, this switch supports Virtual Switching Framework (VSF), hitless failover, Fast Software Upgrade, and dynamic segmentation. Itβs a resilient and scalable solution perfect for converged wired and wireless environments with enhanced security, automation, and cloud-ready management through Aruba Central and ClearPass Policy Manager.
