The HPE Aruba Networking CX 8360-48Y6C v2 is a high-performance Layer 3 managed switch designed for modern enterprise campus cores and data centers. With 48 ports of 1/10/25G SFP/SFP+/SFP28 and 6 high-speed 40/100G QSFP+/QSFP28 uplink ports—including MACsec encryption on select ports—this 1U switch delivers up to 4.8 Tbps of switching capacity. It features front-to-back airflow, redundant hot-swappable fans and power supplies, and integrates HPE’s AOS-CX operating system with Network Analytics Engine (NAE) for deep visibility, telemetry, and automation.
The switch supports HPE VSX for high availability, REST APIs and Python scripting for automation, and a modular cloud-native OS architecture for microservices-driven resiliency. Ideal for transitioning from legacy 1/10G to 25G and 100G networks, it offers advanced capabilities such as dynamic segmentation, MACsec, and support for HPE Smart Rate multigigabit connectivity.
