Description
The HPE Aruba Networking AP-679 is part of the rugged 670 Series Outdoor Access Points, built to deliver ultra-reliable tri-radio Wi-Fi 6E performance for enterprise and industrial IoT applications in challenging outdoor environments. Featuring support for the 6 GHz band, this AP provides up to 3.9 Gbps of aggregate throughput across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz radios using 2x2:2 MIMO technology.
Equipped with internal directional antennas, high-power Bluetooth and Zigbee radios, and GPS, the AP-679 is ideal for wide-area outdoor deployments with simplified mounting and automated frequency coordination (AFC). It offers strong security with WPA3 and Policy Enforcement Firewall (PEF), and IoT readiness with integrated omnidirectional BLE/Zigbee support. Fast 2.5 GbE uplink and 1 GbE SFP ports enable flexible, reliable wired connectivity.
