The HPE Aruba Networking AP-679EX (IL) is a ruggedized tri-radio access point purpose-built for the most extreme and hazardous industrial environments. With Wi-Fi 6E support across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, the AP-679EX delivers up to 3.9 Gbps aggregate throughput using a 2x2:2 MIMO configuration. Designed to operate in Class 1 Division 2 and ATEX Zone 2 conditions, this AP is ideal for offshore oil rigs, industrial manufacturing sites, and mining operations.
It features internal dynamic directional antennas, built-in Bluetooth and Zigbee radios, self-locating GPS, and both 2.5GbE and SFP ports for flexible wired backhaul. With built-in security features like WPA3, Enhanced Open, and TPM, and Aruba's Dynamic Segmentation, it delivers reliable, secure wireless access in the most challenging environments.
