Description
The HPE Networking Comware 5960 Switch is a high-performance, high-density top-of-rack (ToR) data center switch designed for modern enterprise, cloud, and telco environments. This model (R9Y12A) features 24 ports of 100/200G QSFP56 and 8 ports of 400G QSFP-DD, delivering up to 12.8 Tbps switching capacity with sub-microsecond latency and 8 Tbps routing/switching performance.
Built on Comware v9, the switch supports advanced features including Segment Routing (SR-MPLS and SRv6), VXLAN/EVPN, DRNI, and PTP, enabling network virtualization, scalability, and resiliency. With support for dual hot-swappable PSUs and six fan trays, the switch is engineered for reliability and maximum uptime.
It is fully manageable via HPE IMC, SNMP, CLI, SSH, and more, with real-time analytics and telemetry for operational insights. Ideal for dense, mission-critical deployments requiring consistent performance and centralized orchestration.
