Description

The HPE Networking Comware 5520HI (R8M28A) is a high-performance Layer 3 access and aggregation switch engineered for medium to large enterprise networks. Equipped with 24 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports, 4 10G SFP+ ports, and an expansion module slot, it delivers powerful throughput up to 180 Mpps and switching capacity up to 336 Gbps.

Designed for scalability and resiliency, it supports IRF stacking (up to 9 switches), VRRP, ECMP, and BFD, enabling simplified management and high availability. The switch also integrates VXLAN/EVPN for scalable L2/L3 overlays and includes SmartMC for centralized management at no added cost. With dual hot-swappable power supplies and 720W PoE+ capability, the 5520HI ensures maximum uptime for critical infrastructure such as IP phones, cameras, and wireless APs.
