Each 3U module adds 40 cartridge slots, and up to 48 LTO drives can be installed for high-performance backup and archiving. With support for AES-256 encryption, host partitioning, and secure offline storage (air gap), this expansion module provides robust defense against ransomware and simplifies long-term data protection.
Seamlessly integrate with existing MSL LTO drive kits and manage your library remotely via HPE Command View for Tape Libraries (CVTL) for predictive analytics, path failover, and secure server-based access.
